Hot Fly
The last couple of weeks a little brown chernobyl has worked well. Size 12 has been best. Anyone else have a hot fly.

October Hot Fly
Posted by dutchjohn101 on 10/06/2006On B section the sailor ant or sometimes called a barrell ant fished really well. I like black body with brown hackle best.

Hot fly this week.
Posted by dutchjohn101 on 9/10/2006I'm going to have to go with a Ginger woolly bugger. Difinitely the most consistent fly this week.

Fishing Report
Posted by flyman63 on 8/29/2006As I read the fishing report, I was impressed with the detail contained in the recommended flies for each section of the River.
Thanks for the information.
I have also had good success with cricket patterns as long as the sun is out. -
Hot fly for fall
Posted by ttoone on 8/28/2006I have to agree with you about the brown chernobyl - a couple of years ago my wife and I knocked 'em dead on the Green using the brown chernobyl, it was a blast seeing those big trout slam the big old chernobyl.
I would have to say that one of my all time late summer and fall flies is the PMX with brown rubber legs. With a dropper this can be a killer all day rig for many places.
